How did you become involved in the fashion and beauty industry?
My first contact with beauty was back when I was studying art history and fashion design. I worked with oils and other medium, so it felt just as natural to use faces as my canvas.
How would you describe the style of your work?
The style of my work always changes but one remains consistent: highlighting a unique feature of the face. I find it fascinating to explore each subject's face, find out what's different and unique about it, then brining it forward.
In your view, what will be the next beauty trend this spring?
One of the trends for this spring that will transfer straight from the runway to the streets is the return of grunge... Clean skin, big brows and mod dark lips.
What would you say is the most interesting/unique shoot you've done?
My favorite shoots are ones on location anywhere in NYC. I am so in love with every, so very different and interesting corner of the city. I also love working on any beauty and fashion shoots where I get to create new looks is always exciting.
If you were a prisoner on death row, what would be your last meal request?
This is probably one of the hardest questions for me, I am a foodie....but I must say " stuffed calamari" from a place called "Club Slovenaca" in Sarajevo.
